I am an author of a Young Adult fiction book entitled "HITTING UP THE HEAVENS" and a New Adult fiction book, "BEHIND THE VELVET ROPES." Both deal with identity, and both will be available for purchase in the coming months.

Hitting Up the Heavens
Vince Morelli, a gifted young artist, is forced to confront the sad reality that he is now an orphan when he finds his father brutally murdered. Realizing that losing a loved one is far less tragic than losing yourself. He struggles with an overwhelming sense of emptiness as he tries to find his own identity. Unsure whether it is a chance encounter or supernatural guidance from his father, Vince crosses paths with Decker Harrison, the leader of a graffiti crew called The Downtown Dreamers. Tensions grow between them as Vince falls in love with Decker's girlfriend, JuliaSutton. After Vince is unexpectedly invited to join the crew, he gradually cultivates a sense of belonging and a newfound purpose in his life. Decker's obsessive efforts to reclaim Julia and Vince's relentless quest to find his father's killer bring them both to an old railroad bridge. Here, Vince ends up tumbling from the bridge to the roaring current below and is swallowed by the chaos. In the blur between panic and surrender, a shimmer of light guides him to safety. Vince knows now that death does not break the bonds of love

Behind the Velvet Ropes
There are two categories of individuals in the world: those who linger outside the velvet ropes observing, and those who choose to stride within. MARY JANE LUCAS epitomizes
the unassuming backstage figure who finds solace in the external realm. On the contrary WILLIAM ALEXANDER BENNET gravitates toward the spotlight, embodying the
gregarious elite of society. This is a love story between two friends who could not be moreopposite. They reunite to discover that the rarest love is the kind that never asks to be anything but true.
A Reunion of Rediscovery
my story/contact me
ONE SOURCE
My name is Marcelle. Welcome to my world. I have decided to share with you my journey of identity and self-discovery, an often surprising and at times frightening path. The surprises sparked my interest in future exploration. The path at times was fraught with frustration and depression, an anxiety of multiple layers that caused a reaction in me that sent me spiraling into a state I was afraid I would not come out of.
I was born 60 years ago on February 25th,1966. I have always been a naturally curious person: observant, reserved, and deeply compassionate. From an early age, I found myself drawn less to surface answers and more to the underlying patterns of life, quietly trying to understand people, ideas, and the unseen forces that shape our existence. Rather than rushing to conclusions, I've preferred to listen, reflect, and hold space for complexity, believing that understanding begins with empathy and patience, although waiting has never been a strong quality. At the heart of my curiosity has been a lifelong search for truth: how the universe works, what gives life meaning, and who I truly am beneath layers of expectation and identity. That search has not followed a single path, nor has it led to one final answer. Instead, it has carried me through many philosophies, beliefs, and theories, each offering insight, each incomplete on its own. Through these journeys, I've learned that truth is often less about certainty and more about perspective, and that growth comes not from finding definitive answers. but from remaining open, questioning, and willing to evolve. At the moment of conception, through the connection of two separate energies, a spark of light is ignited by what I refer to as the Source. You may call it GoD or universal energy. It truly does not matter which path you choose; they all lead to the same destination. Geometry is the mathematical theory that states one point in space can have a multitude of lines passing through it. It is essential for understanding the structure and behavior of the universe.
That spark of light becomes the fuel that builds our bodies. Not just our physical bodies, which we use to travel through the world where we exist as sentient beings, but also our emotional and mental onesas well. There are many theories on what a soul truly is, where it resides, and when it enters the body. Some scholars and theologians believe that identity begins at birth and changes over time through life experience. I believe that the spark of light is the soul. And as we build our physical bodies "around" our souls, we also start to develop an identity. Each week, I will write about my personal understanding of life, about identity, and how the universe/GOD is the One Source that gives us the power to follow a path back to that one point in space where we all desire to be. No matter which path one follows, it should be one that brings peace and understanding, for it is through the Truth that we reach our destination.
